WELCOME TO PARADISE
Welcome to Paradise is about the recreation of resorts luxe wear. It is a collection inspired from Japan's culture and costume imbedded with the 50s silhouette. Its main inspiration is derived from an asian plant called the Physalis Alkekengi or known as Japanese lantern or Winter Cherry. It is commonly used in Japan for the Obon Festival or in translation means Lantern Festival or Festival of the Dead. It is a day to honor ones ancestors and for those who have passed away. I created this collection in dedication to the recent Taiwanese family that died early this year on February 2015. This is a prayer of hope for a peaceful and safe passage to paradise.
